Our tasting experience is more than just sampling oils—it’s an interactive seminar led by a certified olive oil sommelier. You’ll learn how to taste and evaluate extra virgin olive oil (EVOO), discover the history and culture of olive oil in Crete, explore its role in the Mediterranean diet, and understand the differences between quality categories.
Tastings are hosted in a variety of beautiful settings around Rethymno, including selected restaurants, a scenic olive grove, and sometimes private accommodations (such as villas) by arrangement.
Not at all! This experience is perfect for anyone—whether you’re a complete beginner, a food enthusiast, or a professional. Everything is explained in an easy-to-follow and engaging way.
You’ll taste a selection of some of the finest extra virgin olive oils from Crete—often award-winning or small-batch, and always high-quality. We highlight different olive varieties, regions, and production methods.
